Guillermo Del Toro in Concert: En Casa Con Mis Monstruos

I did some arrangements for En Casa Con Mis Monstruos, a symphonic concert featuring the music from Guillermo Del Toro’s most celebrated work. Tim Davies was the Music Director and Conductor for the event(s), and was kind enough to let me tamper with some of the music from Trollhunters.

H3VR: Meat Fortress

I got to collaborate with my old time Berklee pal Joe Kataldo on Meat Fortress, a new mod for H3VR, the popular wiener-themed VR sandbox. Both gameplay and music are a tribute/spoof on Team Fortress -Valve’s multiplayer shooter (a game that I might have played way too much, if there was such thing). Joe wrote the themes and I got to orchestrate them for horn band. Check out the announcement video for a glimpse of what we did!

The Late Late Show

Recently I had the chance to work on a medley for The Late Late Show with James Corden. James is a class act, and his show is a total riot (Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts anyone?). I am proud to have played a small part in his show, big thanks to my friend Jeremy Levy for having me on board. I hope you enjoy!

Holmes & Watson

Holmes & Watson is out in theaters! I joined the orchestration team on Mark Mothersbaugh’s score. I grew up watching Will Ferrell and John C Reilly’s movies (Talladega Nights must be one of the pivotal movies of my teens), so getting involved on one of their projects felt pretty damn good.

The Innocent Man

I had the pleasure to orchestrate the music for The Innocent Man, a six part documentary on the murders of Ada, Oklahoma. The music was written by Dan Romer, with the help of Joanna Katcher and Giosuè Greco. Giosuè and I go a long way, we met at Berklee during undergrad and I even roped him into playing alto sax for my big band. Check out the show, it’s out on Netflix today!

The Christmas Chronicles

It’s November 22nd and it’s beginning to feel like Christmas -or so we’re told! I had the pleasure to join the orchestration team (lead by Tim Davies) on The Christmas Chronicle, a Netflix original production featuring the music of Christophe Beck. Christmas movies are an Hollywood tradition, and music certainly plays a role in setting the holiday “tone”. This score for sure does!

Sadly I had to miss the recording session at WB -I hear there was an epic foosball tournament at the end.

Ingrid Michaelson: Songs for the Season

I orchestrated the string section on Ingrid Michaelson’s record Songs For The Seasons. My friends Saul Simon MacWilliams and Dan Romer brought me on board. The album draws from the great tradition of Jazz Christmas records, with influences from Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and others. Fun fact: this was the second Christmas record I have worked on. The other was an album I produced with my colleagues at Frost School of Music. It was called Sounds of the Season!

Maniac

After a long wait Maniac is finally available on Netflix! I orchestrated the music on all episodes of the series. Dan Romer’s score was particularly fun to work on, as it radically shifts in character following the various “parallel worlds” that the show explores. I got to orchestrate a wide range of material, ranging from cues à la Bernard Heman to some modern epic/fantasy music. The soundtrack is available on all streaming platforms, check it out!

Ant-Man and The Wasp

Earlier this year I had the great pleasure to work as orchestrator on Ant-Man and the Wasp, a new installment in the ever growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. I was brought on board by Tim Davies, who lead the orchestration team and conducted Christophe Beck’s score over at Abbey Road. Large recording projects such as this are massive undertaking, I’m always amazed by the level of dedication that everyone brings to the table. It really feels special to be a part of such a team effort.

Wizarding World Logo

A very exciting project that I'm happy to share! The logo for Wizarding World, the new production house for all things Harry Potter is out. Orchestration works by yours truly.
