Holmes & Watson

Holmes & Watson is out in theaters! I joined the orchestration team on Mark Mothersbaugh’s score. I grew up watching Will Ferrell and John C Reilly’s movies (Talladega Nights must be one of the pivotal movies of my teens), so getting involved on one of their projects felt pretty damn good.

The Innocent Man

I had the pleasure to orchestrate the music for The Innocent Man, a six part documentary on the murders of Ada, Oklahoma. The music was written by Dan Romer, with the help of Joanna Katcher and Giosuè Greco. Giosuè and I go a long way, we met at Berklee during undergrad and I even roped him into playing alto sax for my big band. Check out the show, it’s out on Netflix today!

Ant-Man and The Wasp

Earlier this year I had the great pleasure to work as orchestrator on Ant-Man and the Wasp, a new installment in the ever growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. I was brought on board by Tim Davies, who lead the orchestration team and conducted Christophe Beck’s score over at Abbey Road. Large recording projects such as this are massive undertaking, I’m always amazed by the level of dedication that everyone brings to the table. It really feels special to be a part of such a team effort.

Ready Player One - Trailer

I recently had the pleasure to assist orchestrators Tim Davies and Jeremy Levy in the making of the trailer for Ready Player One (music composed by Veigar Margeirsson and Tony Fiala). Spielberg is a giant of modern cinematography, his works always have a way to re-imagine pop culture, and the way we think of films. I grew up watching Hook, A.I., Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic Park, etc. so being involved in the making of the trailer for one of his movies was a very special experience. Congrats to my friends at Pitch Hammer Music for the placement. I'm excited to see this!

The Snow Queen 3: Fire & Ice

It sure has been a busy Spring! I have been very fortunate to work with composer Fabrizio Mancinelli on the third episode of the Snow Queen franchise. Trolls, snow and adventures sure call for some exciting music: Fabrizio's action-packed score is a brilliant fit. This is the first animation movie that I've had the pleasure to orchestrate, and it has been a real blast. The movie will come out in December of 2016, can't wait to see the finished product.

Here's a cool article about the movie (Animation Magazine).

Miracles from Heaven

Earlier this year I had the great pleasure to work as lead orchestrator and music programmer on Miracles from Heaven. Composer Carlo Siliotto wrote a truly amazing score to accompany this beautiful, heartfelt movie (definitely bring tissues to the theater!). The music was recorded entirely in Los Angeles, so it was a great chance to meet and be around some of Hollywood's veteran recording musicians -I got to hear funny anecdotes to fill a lifetime. A big thank you to Carlo for making me a part of the music team, and to director Patricia Riggen for making it all happen.
